The FDA has approved a new pill created by Motorola, which is designed to turn you into a password for your electronic devices. The micro computer, vitamin-like pill promises to unlock your electronic devices effortlessly while keeping them secure. Powereded by the acid in your stomach, the chip is triggered by your gut juices, transmitting an 18-bit ECG signal that switching it on and off. This signal will unlock your devices from inside you, as you approach them. As long as the chip is inside you, you will become the authentication for accessing your devices. The pill is, apparently, safe to take up to 30 times per day.
Motorola has gotten through the biggest hurdle of supplement creation with the FDA approving of the vitamin-like pill. However, they do not plan on launching the product anytime soon. Motorola has also already tested the pill to authenticate a user to their mobile phone.
