Meijer has announced a recall of select fresh salads and sandwiches over concerns about potential Salmonella contamination. According to the company’s web site, the affected Markets of Meijer Salads and Sandwiches were sold from 7/20/16 to 7/25/16 in Meijer stores.
The recall was announced after Meijer was notified by supplier Prime Foods LLC that a cooked egg ingredient used in Meijer salads and sandwiches had tested positive for salmonella.
